Friday Potpourri

3 cheers for Friday
what took you so long??

this picture speaks to me ~ I love it
I can see me here
with a cuppa tea and a good book

after this week I needed some pretty
some ruffles and lace
and flowers

these socks are so cute ~ I can see me in these too!

as I write this there is snow falling outside
and it makes me smile
I think I need a little white ~ a little clean
after being under the weather all week
it really gives me an excuse to stay in this week-end and putter
organize ~ dust ~ relax ~ cook

maybe I will make some soup
or maybe I won't

I know that whatever I do ~ I will do it well
and not feel a bit of guilt about doing nothing if that is the case
come Sunday night.

Wishing you a wonderful week-end
and enjoy whatever you do

smile!

Oh my goodness friend...that banana cream concoction was just evil of you to put up. My mouth is salivating. I tried out my spices yesterday. Had book club at my house and whipped up the onion dip. So yummy, thank you again. I love thinking about the giver of the gift when I ate my veggies:)

I'm so jealous you got snow Lori! Still wearing my bracelet...thank you so much again! I know what you mean to be feeling under the weather. I seem to spend the winter months holding off every fever and bug. I am tucked in front of the fire now so that's got to be a good thing. Lou x

Hello,
I visited your blog today. Your blog is so pretty, colorful, and full of life! I loved the picture of the red cup and the heart. The book quote was so special and really touched my heart, as it reminded me of my daughter who is working on her Ph.D. right now. Me and my daughters started a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with peace and beauty, and it made me leave here tonight with a smile. I hope to hear from you, and have a lovely evening.
