Crossroads

I feel like I am at a crossroads
not knowing which way to go
there are so many things I would like to change

I just commented to a friend
if I write things down ~ I am accountable for them

tonight I am not feeling very accountable...

I have to choose
I am the captain of my own ship

I need to lead a better life
a cleaner life
a healthier life

I have not yet picked a word for the year
although Move and Breathe
are both contenders!

As we rang in the new year last night
I got tears in my eyes
emotional ~ surrounded by some of my best friends
thankful for all I have

I hope I have the strength to make good changes
in my life

with my husband beside me
encouraging me on
like only he can do

I think I can do it

I shall take this month to make my list
and start to make things happen

then
I will hopefully be able to share that list
with you...

I welcome 2012 with open arms
xo

This post is definitely speaking to me tonight, Lori as I am feeling just this way too. I haven't picked my words yet but I think they will end up being focus and move. Love the Christopher Robin quote - it says it all! Here's to a new year of making great choices and enjoying the ride! xxoo:)

You, my friend, are incredibly strong and if anyone can find strength to see their goals through to the end, it is you. You know that you are surrounded by love and support, even if we aren't as close as we would like. The phone and email are nearly as good - use them!
Love to you~
xx

My dear friend Lori,
I'm sure that 2012 will be a wonderful year for you. I'm afraid that I'm not as philosophical as you and many of my blogging friends.....you are all so good at thinking of what you are going to do in the coming year and setting goals for yourselves. I'm pretty laid back and hopeless !!!! I just take everything as it comes !!
You have such a wonderful and positive attitude so, the world is your oyster.
Many, many thanks for all of your support and extra thanks for going over to Lou, Boos and Shoes and commenting on my silly post !! haha It was so kind of you ....you are a true blogging friend.
Wishing you and yours a wonderful 2012 filled with everything that you wish for and, most of all, fun !!
With much love. XXXX

I am sure that you will achieve all that you want in 2012 if you stay positive. Move and breathe are one in the same...I am striving for that, too!

Happy New Year, Lori! I have so enjoyed blogging with you this year, you are a great friend!

XO,
Jane

I know you can do it! You can do anything you set your mind to. You are strong and resillient. Take some time though, to concentrate on the things that you don't have to change. Your capacity to love, your commitment to your family and friends, your compassion. You are farther in those areas than most people I know. My motto for this year is "Don't sweat the small stuff!"
