Day Off #5

It's snowing here today
and I am on day off #5

I am loving the time off
but I have gotten lazy

maybe it is all the food
or the chocolate
and sweets

I have to move today
do something constructive

regroup

I do have laundry in
that is a good thing
right??

I did make it out of the house yesterday
shopping
and picked up a couple of bargains

and I was thinking
and planning
making a mental list
of what I am going to do
in the new year

but before I start that list
I have things to do today...

I am cleaning out closets
filling bags for goodwill

putting away our presents

cleaning up the wrap and bows

making chowder for supper

hope you are having a great day!

xo

I think you're right Lori...all of the sweets and chocolates are an energy zapper...I'm supposed to be getting things done and here I am blogging...

Hope you have a productive and wonderful new year!!!

Oooh chowder sounds good....it's already dark (and wet) here, soup and fresh French bread for us for tea :)

I cleared out some cupboards yesterday, I needed some active to do....although I might have interrupted it with a chocolate or two ;)

We just got in last night...trying to play catch up! So not fun, laundry, dirt, fat:) We did get the Christmas stuff down. AHH normalcy. Miss you too!

I think that everyone feels like that after Christmas, Lori. It's all of the overindulging.
I shall be making turkey soup today....one of my favourite parts of Christmas. Once I've had a bowl or two, I always feel like a new woman and can start getting back to normal. Enjoy your days off, Lori. XXXX
