Tomorrow is Remembrance Day
it is the day that we honour
the brave men and women
who fought in past wars
and present ones
it is the day that we honour
the brave men and women
who fought in past wars
and present ones
so although I will remove my poppy tomorrow
I will continue to honour the veterans
that gave me freedom

a red poppy.........I really do like them - and your images you posted.....any from your home?
What a nice remembrance post. I know I appreciate it when someone takes time out to remember the veterans.
I did not take any of these ~ I have a nice shot that I did take last summer but I did not use it here.
Great tribute Lori. Tomorrow is also my mom and dad's 49th wedding anniversary! Something else to be grateful for:)
Beautiful post!
I love that you included the poppies. I never knew where that came from, so nice to read the poem.
A beautiful post and tribute to our brave soldiers Lori!! God bless all of them.
My brother-in-law is career Army and currently serving in Afghanistan...

Beautiful images on a day that we must remember all of our servicemen, Lori. There is always a Festival of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall in London and the most poignant part is when what seems like a million poppy petals fall from the ceiling, one for every serviceman who died. I have watched it nearly every year.
Sorry that I'm late with my comment. I must have tried at least 7 times. I don't know why I'm having so much trouble and I don't want to miss commenting. I don't want you to think I don't care ! XXXX
Wonderful tribute to our Veterans. I have had the honor to visit Flanders Field...it is awe inspiring and reverent with all the crosses. A photo one never forgets.
