Buds & Stitches

Well hello and Happy Monday!

as you can see I dusted off my camera this week-end
and ventured outside

the sun was shining and although there was a bit of a wind
we found a sheltered little spot out back
and curled up like cats and soaked it all up

loving the buds on the trees and the clear blue sky

of course I was protected by batman
or batdog I should say

we played a bit of frisbee and she got to burn off some energy
better to do it outside than all over the house

I also got started on a little project using a piece of an old quilt
and a blanket that brings back plenty of memories

I still have to spark up the sewing machine but they are coming together
just the way I planned

love it when a plan comes together so nicely!

Hope you had a great week-end
and the week treats you kind.

xo

Beautiful outdoor pictures! I love seeing everything budding and your crocus are so pretty. Batdog looks like he is enjoying himself, too!

I'm looking forward to seeing your project, the quilt is lovely! I hope you continue to have good weather and send some my way...we had a rainy weekend!

XO,
Jane

OK! NO fair, Lori! :)You have crocuses? Yes, we did get dumped on . . . but now it's melting and I just photographed a butterfly - no kidding - I'm about to post it! :)

Sounds like a fun and productive weekend, Lori! I was home just resting as that nasty flu bug got me. Feeling a bit better now! Have a wonderful week, sweet girl! xxoo
