They say the April showers bring May flowers
and by the looks of things around here
I believe it to be true

everything on the east coast is early this year
the trees are not just budding
but in some cases the leaves are unfurling
and everything is green green green

Spring is truly one of my favorite seasons
seeing everything waking up and poking their little heads
out of the ground ~ making sure the coast is clear

so today I am drawn to florals ~ greens ~ pastals
things that are fresh

and always ruffles ~ you can't go wrong with ruffles!

it's been kind of an off week for me
not feeling like myself
busy at work ~ attempting to change my routine
hoping to fit some better things into my schedule
or fly by the seat of my pants and throw the schedule away
love that it stays lighter at night
if it dries up some I hope to get out in the flowerbeds
last night I gave myself a manicure
first one of the season
and maybe ~ just maybe
I will go out and buy myself a new pair of these!

Beautiful post, as usual Lori! My advice to you (and one that I live by 100%) is to throw the schedule away and fly by the seat of your pants, baby! :) Definitely go out and buy some new flip flops, nothing better than a new pair of shoes! I just got a mani/pedi today as the weather is increasingly nice as of late! Enjoy your week, sweet friend! xxoo
I didn't have a very spectacular week either; a little slow, a little off kilter. I am hoping the weekend will bring warmer weather and clear skies!
I just bought Old Navy flip flops in about every color. At $3.87 a pair, you can't go wrong!
