The Great White North

I live in Canada

also known as the
Great White North

I do not live in an igloo
but this winter
it could be a possibility

I promised some friends
I would post some before and after shots
of our latest storm
which dumped another 20cm of snow
on our lovely city

so I give you Saturday

this is after getting numerous storms in a row
and it was a gorgeous day
sun shining ~ no wind

almost seems embraceable ~ ha!

I tried to use the railing as a measurement tool

and this is today

going into the back door on Saturday

and today

I must say it is really pretty
and for anyone that loves snow
this is the perfect winter

after our snow blower bit the dust
oh about 2 or 3 storms ago
Trev is not enjoying it
good thing I got the lasagna made for supper!

and this is the weather forecast
for the coming week

want to come over??

Oh my goodness Lori.....I don't now how you cope with it all and carry on with life !! I guess that you are a little used to it as you get lots of snow every year but, you have had much more this year, haven't you ? I feel a real wimp when I talk about the snow that we get...... it's child's play compared to the amount that you get......and, it looks as if you will be getting more !!
Oh well, there's nothing that you can do to stop it so, get making more of those lasagnes !!!!
Take care Lori and keep warm. XXXX

Lori,

Very pretty but "me thinks" we will just hang around here for awhile. I know what Alberta winters are like also.
