~ Remembrance ~

Today is the day
we honor those that have served in war

they are the reason we have the freedoms
we have today

seeing a veteran today
brings a tear to my eye

but they also make my heart proud

we wear a poppy on our lapel
to honor these brave men and women

I wear mine with pride

true north strong and free

Oh Canada
we stand on guard for thee

Great tribute Lori...lovin' all the poppies. So pretty and tied together with your thoughts perfectly.

Oh my... tears are falling! My grandpa passed on a couple years ago, and he always wore a poppy on his lapel.... he was a PROUD veteran, and sold the red poppies any chance he could.

Gorgeous photos as always. Thanks for the memory sweet friend!
