planning my last vacation day of the year
I have a date this afternoon

we are heading out after school
for our annual Christmas shopping trip
maybe we will buy something black
to celebrate Black Friday!
Tonight we are off to the local brew pub
for a retirement party

"deck the halls"
I made it to the store

Dear Lori,
Well, for me, everydsy is Black Friday 'cos I'm always in black !!!! haha
Have a great time shopping.....but then, I don't need to tell you that, do I ?
Hi five to Tara....for her, Christmas has come early.
Enjoy the weekend Lori. XXXX
Just think no crowds, no pushing no shoving just simply warm and snug as a bug on your sofa thinking and planning a wonderful trip. Enjoy my frien! xo
Have a beautiful weekend!!
I don't brave the crowds on Black Friday but my hubby is this very minute...he thrives on it and he is a good shopper! I'd much prefer today as it is...drinking good coffee and seeing what my bloggy friends are up to! Enjoy your shopping trip {I love those plaid high heels}!
XO,
Jane
So did you have a fabulous time shopping?? Would you believe I did participate in black friday and was at our first stop at 4am??? It is crazy but we had so much fun and drank a lot of coffee!
Girl I didn't even leave the house. People line up at 2am and I'm not down for a trample-a-thon or a push festival. No dice!! I did scour the internet and found a pair of boots at 25% off. That was kind of nice...try the online sales. Lots of times they're just as good and ship to the Motherland. Let me know if I can help. If you lived here I'd brave the crowds with you...in my helmet and shoulder pads. hahahaha
xo,
Carrie
did i tell you about the lady i know whose 65 yr old mother had her $9 black friday major deal shark steam cleaner stolen out of her cart at wal-mart while she watched on? and her 4'9'' 100 lb mother jumped the cart and bent the woman's femur on down to the ground wrestling that shark out of the other woman's grasp while her daughter and grand-daughter watched on in mortification/awe??
i never laughed so hard in ALL MY LIFE!! hells bells it's a jungle out there on black friday!!
I didn't leave the house myself, just stayed in and relaxed after my long and tiring, but very fun Thanksgiving! Congrats to Tara - you lucky girl!! I, too will be "decking the halls" tomorrow when I get out the Christmas decorations - tis the season!! Have a beautiful weekend, Lori!! xxoo :)
Mmmm..... I don't know what is my favorite the black coat or the chocolate martinis! Both look so yummy! No shopping here. I can't see standing in line 5 hours before the store opens. We will be doing the decorating though. This is the first time that we have been able to put up the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. Thank goodness for fake ones!
Hi Lori. Don't worry, you didn't miss too much with the black Friday here in the states. It is so crazy! I didn't go out this year :) I hope you and the girls had a successful Christmas shopping trip. Hopefully you have your home all decorated and are enjoying your weekend!
We were driving home...missed all the commotion! I'm holding out for Cyber Monday:) Missed you too.
I didn't do any Black Friday shopping either :) However your pictures are so incredibly sexy hehe I love all the colour-themed posts you do! You are so fabulous at them! xo
