Rust * Rusty * Rustic

This is the best time of year
to throw on your scarf
and go for a walk

old farms are the best
you can find some great stuff
abandoned houses
and barns

you never know what you may come across...

isn't this beautiful!

careful on the stairs...

there is something about the colour of rust
it's just so...well...rustic!

just charming

*~~~~~~~~~*

I love wandering through the fields

careful of the barbed wire!

this was pulled behind a tractor
many years ago...

down in the lower field
you may come across some old vehicles

maybe not with all the sparkle of this one...

this is very beautiful rust!

and there is nothing nicer
than the rust that autumn brings

mum's anyone?

I know you will take some of these
roasted pumpkin seeds are a fall favorite...

and taking a cue from Simone
I had to include some gorgeous gowns...

loving the feathers on this one!

then when you come home
a nice mulled apple cider

and a thick slice of carrot cake
the perfect ending to a perfect day!

Sorry ~
had to use this one again today
because I really love it!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS!!!

Wonderful post Lori....seeing the old doors, locks and bits of machinery was just like being back in Italy in the summer....I would have needed a whole truck for everything I wanted to bring back with me :)

And I love those beautiful gowns....fabulous....nearly as lovely as that carrot cake ;)

Have a great day! xo

Mmmm.... just leave me with the carrot cake and who cares that I could not fit in one of those gorgeous gowns. So much more fun to be fat and happy. And I will take that door also.
