Little did I know that when I sat down at the computer
last May and decided to start a blog
that I would come in contact with
so many wonderful people.
I blame Kim as she is the one that started me off.
I would sit in the mornings ~ with my coffee
and read her blog and look at her beautiful images.
Zizette started too
writing about her family and
transformations in her new home.
Then Simone jumped on the bandwagon
she truly has an eye for beauty
her posts bring a smile to my face every day.
So ~ I said to myself
"You can do this"
by no means am I a writer
but I love a good story
and pretty pictures
and taking pictures...
I have poured out my heartand had so much fun
going down this road to 100
I have been inspired
I have laughed
and cried
There is so much truth
and beauty in the words I read
and the images I see
every day.
So bring out the cake
and blow up the balloons
because I am celebrating!

Why do I love blogging? Well, I love that it has brought out a whole other part of me that I almost never knew existed and given me a creative freedom which I just love.
Surprises....well, who knew that there were so many fabulous blogs out there....and so many fabulous bloggers....proof that a girl can never have too many friends!!!

Congrats! I started about the same time and also just celebrated 100. I must agree with all that you have said. The added friends that I have come to know is whithout doubt a bonus unexpected. Tops though for me is finding a dear lsot friend...we were so much alike...I found here blog for just that reason...we were following the same blogs!!! I get chill bumps just writting about it..

What a great giveaway!
Blogging has been a great outlet for me. I have loved connecting with some incredibly talented people out there. Something surprising that has come out of it is having some of my projects featured on a couple different sites. When I'm at home working on my projects, I'm just happy doing it and sometimes I'm really pleased with the results. It's so cool when someone else likes my projects too! :)

I've only been doing the decorating blog for a couple months, but I've blogged for years. I love to write, to express, to vent! And it's so cathartic to read and see all the other awesome blogs out there. Makes me feel normal. And heck, how many of us will be featured in a national magazine??? This way, we get a little bit of the pie in the sky...our 15 minutes of fame, sharing with other like-minded creative women (and a few men).

Congratulations on your 100th post! I love your blog, and I think I found you via Kim - but regardless, I'm glad that I did. My favorite thing about blogging is the people I have met - it was the biggest surprise and gift that I received when I started my little photo journal of our house renovation - which has turned into more about life along the way haha.

i love blogging because it gives me something to show my son when he gets older. i wrote to him while he was in my tummy. I think that those times are the best.
