Friday Potpourri

Hello Friday ~ I have been waiting for you

 the days are  getting shorter
and cooler

I feel like nesting
baking ~ slow cooked meals
under a blanket with a good book and a cup of tea

socks ~ gasp
and sweaters

this week-end I am packing up summer
they are calling for rain
so nest I will

I need a week-end at home
to putter and do things at will

no agenda ~ no lists ~ no plans

sounds like a perfect one to me.

Happy Week-end.

Hi Lori - it's amazing isn't it how when the seasons change we want to revisit those favourite pastimes associated with the chillier weather?!! I am the same; just getting ready for a weekend of wholesome food and chilling out. I am putting away the last of my summer clothes and have now resigned myself it is boot weather! It makes me wonder what on earth it must be like to live somewhere where the seasons don't change - would seem all wrong to me. Although I know come January I will be begging for Spring. Take care and enjoy the 'putter'... Lou x

The chill has arrived the past few mornings at my place, even with the hot afternoons. I love it! Pulled out the cozy socks to walk around in while I get ready for the day. Waiting to get out all my boots!

"Laugh as much as you breath...." LOVE LOVE LOVE that quote!

Have a beautiful weekend friend!

Happy putting weekend.

I am looking forward to sweaters, boots, cooler weather too! I have been in a puttering around the house mood for a few weeks now and am loving it. I plan to do more of the same and go on some nice long walks and bike rides. Anything pumpkin is wonderful in my book! Happy weekend, my lovely friend! xxoo

Beautiful autumn colours. I could do with weekend at home just to potter but we always end up with so many plans.

Hi Lori! :)

It was 75 degrees today but I made pumpkin and beef stew in the slow cooker. I met Kim downtown for lunch and we sat outside in the sunshine which was amazing!! I LOVE it when fall is like this. Just really enjoying life right now because I know that the grey season will be here before I know it and then it will be blankets and books and hot chocolate and fires! Take care!!
