Ahhh Friday
I breathe you in ~ right down to my toes
you see it is not just the end of the week
it is the beginning of a week off
vacation ~ and that brings a smile to my face

since my last vacation was full of plans and go go go
this time is free and clear
there are some things I do want to do
and I am making a little list
via |
I would love to throw caution to the wind
and take off for places unknown
but I think I will keep my feet firmly planted on the ground
and stay put
via |
a day of antiquing and junking may be on the agenda
as I know there are local spots that I just need to find
via |

I know I am pulling out this recipe ~ I need to make it!
lemony goodness ~ oh my

and read ~ oh how I love to read
I finished a book last week-end at the cottage and
started another ~ which I finished yesterday
so maybe I can get 2 more in ~ Lord knows I have enough
in my to read pile!

Hope that you have had a great week
that the kiddos are all settled back in school
and your routines are starting to find their niche.
Have a fabulous week-end!

Have fun friend. Wish I could go junking with you. Wouldn't we have fun? Love that rainy porch picture!
Have a fab week off! I had a few days off moving Steff to her new place, now I need the weekend to recuperate ( and plan my remodel for her old room - its going to be my office/guest room! ) Happy days and hugs, my friend! xxoo
Lori! I know I owe you an email - post Olympics commentary to talk about! But lovely to hear from you. I love that rain image with the watering can...something about afternoon rain. Just not so good when it lasts for days like it has here this summer. However this weekend is lovely sunshine. Yey! Lou x
I love that rainy porch photo! And now I really need lemon drizzle cake!
lovely images...so jealous of that rain. We are heading into our 60days with no rain and the tanks are running low..
cute blog!
