Lori, what an absolutely DELICIOUS post! Aren't summer strawberries just divine? And so versatile as well! Now I would just love to start my day with those strawberry pancakes and a glass of chilled champagne (with the strawberry too of course) and end it with that scrumptious strawberry cake, YUMMMM! Bumpkin is going to go crazy over those strawberry lips, mark my word!

What a happy week of celebrations you have ahead - I hope you have lots of strawberry-filled days of fun! Enjoy your Sunday sweet friend xox

Dear Lori,
I LOVE summer fruits....all of them but, I think that strawberries are my favourites....or is it raspberries or peaches or cherries ? Oh, I love them all.
With all of those birthday's that you have to celebrate, I think that you might be eating a few of those cakes and strawberry concoctions.
Enjoy all of your celebrations, Lori. XXXX

I sure am glad that I already have two cartons of fresh strawberries in my refrigerator . . . or I would have to get out of my pajamas and head to the store THIS INSTANT.

Beautiful summery post.

Oh, I already have some strawberries I eat each morning on my cereal. But mine come from the store, unfortunately. Love the pics! Especially of the clothespins holding them.

Lori - my name is Carrie and I was just over at Simone's Ironing Basket where I had the opportunity to read your post on Canada.

I just wanted to thank you, so much, for a wonderful representation of the beauty of Canada.

I am Canadian and grew up on the Prairies where the Wild Rose grows freely in the ditches and the crocus is plentiful in our pastures.

I left a lengthy comment over there, but had to come here and thank you personally. I'm following too - because it's always good to connect with people from home. Even if they're on the opposite side of the house (country)!!

xoxo and thank you again!!

Lori,
Can you send the recipe for the fresh strawberry pie that you made.
That looks like a chunky girl's dream come true!
I love strawberries, and Mississippi is full of them, one thing the oil can't take away, and blueberries, I just froze a bushel over the weekend.
