Friday Potpourri

Ahh Friday....

this week has been exhausting
busy at work
busy at home
busy busy busy

sugar scrub ~ looks good enough to eat!

things are looking up
they have had Mom sitting up in the chair
and taking short jaunts with the walker
she still has the trachea in
so she can't talk which is frustrating for both of us

also still in ICU so she is getting
the best of care
the nurses there are wonderful
they really are

looking through the window
and seeing the green
I want spring to arrive
I really do

so this week-end I will take some time for me
I need a bubble bath ~ some book time
and maybe even bake a banana bread!

Hope you had a great week
and that the sunshine finds you
this week-end.

Hi Lori,
It's so good to hear that your mum is must be such a relief for you. .....and, it's definitely time for some 'me' time for you.
Enjoy your weekend but, I'm afraid that Spring is a while off yet !!!! haha. XXXX

All my daffs are coming up and I am so afraid that it's going to freeze and ruin them all. What a crazy winter we are having! I'm wishing spring would get here too.

Rest and read this weekend girlie!

Love and hugs,

First off, so glad that your mom is doing alot better - I have been thinking about you both all week...sending my love and prayers.

Second, this post has a whole bunch of yum of different sorts in it and I LOVE IT ALL!

Definitely take that bubble bath and get some rest. If you have any banana bread left send some my way....:) Happy weekend, lovely friend! xxoo

Just having you there will offer hope, love and support. Have you tried communicating using paper/ computer? I'm sure you've already thought of such things but I just thought I'd mention it. Beautiful images as always. Rx
