I love how you used the violet colors to match the beautiful eyes of this lovely lady. It really saddens me that we have lost her.

Looking forward to hearing where you are going!

XO,
Jane

Hello Lori - I know what you mean about a shock over Wednesday's sad news. She really was quite an icon. I love the quote about diamonds! How true. I say a diamond can never be too big (abit like you can never have too many shoes!). Lovely images this week - that lavender is evocative of summer. I am yearning for some sun. Lou x

Such a loss. This post really is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful lady. My daughter was just watching the original National Velvet last weekend. Can't wait to hear where you are going! I hope it is some place warm and I can live vicariously through you!

I was shocked too, even though she had been hospitalized for many weeks, she has always bounced back and I just naturally thought she would! Loved her!

I can't wait to hear where you are going, but I am thinking it might be pretty close to where I may be going this summer too....just taking a wild guess!

Happy happy weekend, my friend! xxoo :)

Gorgeous post Lori....such a beautiful colour.

I love the pics you have chosen of Elizabeth Taylor, she was so stunning....and what a life, truly lived to its fullest. A fabulous actress too.

Can't wait to hear where you are going??!! xx
