I Love Sundays

Monday morning comes way too quickly
but I do love my Sunday's

lazy mornings over coffee and tv shows
hubby has the laptop ~ I have the remote
then brunch for 2
and we start our day around noonish

I popped a roast and some veggies in the slow cooker

and set out to make some blueberry pumpkin bread
recipe found here

I decided to make them into muffins this time around
and they are soooo good!

we headed out to our local nursery
and picked out our tree

I will put the lights on it next week-end
and we will decorate it next Sunday
see ~ I l*o*v*e my Sundays!

Saturday I decorated
I tried not to go too overboard
but I think I failed

still loving the cranberries

this is one of my favorite pieces
we got it as a gift a few Christmases ago
plus ~ it has a snowman
still have that fetish going on too!

my nativity scene is set up
I have had this for about 20 years
and love it still

each piece was bought for me by a different
family member ~ so that is one of the reasons why
it means so much.

this is an old family photo
Christmas 1969
faded from the sun ~ another favorite

my cards are completed and in the mail
no shopping done ~ other than the grocery store

2 on-line orders came in the mail though
so another thing checked off my list

I love lists....

anywhoooo ~ I have some exciting news to share
but I can't tell you yet

so in the spirit of the season
I am having another give-away

it's a little packet full of goodies
pictures to come
right now you will have to trust me
that you will love everything

you have until Wednesday
at midnight as I want to be able to
do the draw and get it in the mail
so you will have it in time for the holidays.

Happy Monday!
Have a great week.

xo

I wish it could be Sunday 4x/week. All my fresh baked cookies hit the floor last night. All but 4 of them. Don't ask. :(

Hi Lori. I just love how sentimental you are with your Christmas decorating and I do not think you went overboard at all!

Please enter me in your giveaway Lori.
I love Sundays too, but for a rather greedy reason... my hubby plays golf and I can do my own thing for 6 hours. A girl needs that once and awhile!!
