Friday Thoughts

It has been a long week

for a 4 day week

but aren't the shortest work weeks

always the ones that drag and drag and drag....

turkey sandwiches have been my friend

I think I could have them for lunch every day

of course 

Monday was a holiday 

here in Canada

so we took advantage of the crisp fall day

and got some yard work done

I emptied my containers

and cut back some of the plants

the Hydrangeas are a beautiful shade of rose this year

it's the Cosmo's last hurrah

and my Mum is looking so pretty out front

so

this coming week-end will be a little more relaxing...

rain is in the forecast

so it's housework

and

catching up on some tv

while snuggling on the couch.

Sunday I am hosting a jewelry party

so we will have a little food

and a little wine

and a whole lotta laughs.
