Cozy Up

Baby it is cold out there today!

we woke up this morning to
a balmy -27 C
with the windchill

that = brrrrrr
in Fahrenheit

actually it's about 6 F
same diff ~ right??

we had some
stick to your ribs comfort food
for supper

and tonight
I am slipping into something
more comfortable

and
I will have...

socks on

yeah ~ I hardly ever
wear socks at home

and then I will make

one of these
fat free of course...

oh that was a funny one!

I will wrap myself up in one of these

found here

and wish that we could build one of these:

found here

not a fireplace silly
we have one of those
but until the flue is checked
there will be no fire in the hearth.

Keep warm everyone!

Oh my goodness, Lori! It is freezing in Canada! I have been cold here and it is only in the 40s!!! But good socks, hot drinks, and a cozy home always makes the cold weather bearable! Hope you are having a good start to your week!

Oh, Lori! It is mighty cold where you are at!! We are warming up this week to 30F!! I hope everything melts.

I never wear socks either and I received some very cozy ones for Christmas. However, the giver of the present has now made off with them!! I will wear my good old slippers instead!!

Have a great week (if possible)!!!

Hi Lori,
Well, here in London we now know how you feel, and what you have to put up with in winter.
I found a new blog today ... a girl who lives very near to me and she said that she has just moved back to England from living in Canada and she can't bekieve that she has come back to this weather !!!!
Get those socks on, a lovely cappuccino and something nice and sweet to eat and all the cold will go away !! XXXX
