In reading through some articles this morning, I was yearning to go and visit a far away land. I then stopped myself because I have seen some of the most beautiful spots on earth right here ~ in my country!
Where else can you go and dig your toes into bright red mud? Prince Edward Island of course!
A few years ago Trev and I traveled to Ontario on vacation ~ on our first night we stopped in Quebec City. I loved, loved, loved this place. I only wish that we could have stayed longer....
Our very first vacation together was to Nova Scotia and we went to Peggy's Cove. This is a breathtakingly beautiful spot.
Although I have been to the falls numerous times ~ I saw it through Trev's eyes when we went together a few years back. He is such a big kid and it made me appreciate them more than I had before.
I have never been to "The Rock" or been "Screeched In" but it is on my top 10 list of places I must get to in my lifetime. Newfoundland has the nicest people EVER ~ really....I mean it!
Although I only flew over them on my one and only trip out west, I would love to see the prairies. I hear that you can watch your dog run away from home for days....
Last but not least today ~ I leave you with one of the most gorgeous places I have ever been in my life. This is Lake Louise ~ in the heart of the Canadian Rockies this is a jewel. I fell in love with the mountains and the color of the water..
Do you have a favorite place?

Absolutely beautiful!
I have heard that Lake Louise is stunning......and my one day in Canada was to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.....I can't wait to take the children there, it was a fantastic day.
What beautiful, beautiful pictures........and what a stunning country, one of the few countries that I haven't been to....my husband has been , on business , and loved it.......I think that a favourite place for me is usually the last place that I have been which is Florence and Venice....BUT i am going to the Amalfi coast in a couple of weeks and feel sure that that will be my favourite place xxxx
Canada is amazing... I have only seen a few parts, but i loved it!
Thank you for the sweet comment on the post about your dad... i appreciated reading it. I never take for granted the fact that my dad is here to walk me down the isle, I am thankful for that every day. It's amazing how incredible life is when you realize what you have when you have it - instead of when its gone. Thank you for the reminder. I am so glad you are able to picture your dad walking you down the isle, you know he was right there every step of the way!
