Vancouver 2010
it is something that we as Canadians
have been looking forward to
for a long time
it seemed so far away
but now it is right around the corner
the torch relay
was a site to see
it was a 106 day run
visiting more than 1000 communities
across our nation
I got a chance to see itas it went right past our sub division
one morning back in November
it made me proud
and a little teary eyed
I am after all
a sentimental girl
I am not usually a sports watching
kind of girl
but when it comes to the Olympics
I will watch just about anything
scary ~ I know!
I am keeping my fingers crossed for Canada
as we do have a home advantage
here's hoping we get to hearour national anthem
a few times!
