Old Window Love

Here we are again
Friday

and it is truly TGIF

first week back to work after vacation is
I think the longest week of them all!

As I sit here tonight
playing blog catch up
after eating pizza for supper

I feel fall's chill in the air
it has rained here all week
and I do not think Mother Nature missed
a day

no.she.did.not

the forecast for the week-end however
is calling for sunshine
so I am hoping to get outside
and work on a couple of new projects

this little gem was down at the cottage
and I am going to clean it up
and make it into a mirror

I also found this

it needs some cleaning up too

but look at how pretty she is...

I think she will hang in the living room
behind the couch

maybe...

I think I will play around with it

there are so many things I want to do
but I know I will have to prioritize my list
as I need some R & R too

So ~ what are your plans for the last official
week-end of the summer?

You must take a minute
and drop over to see Trishy
as she is having an incredible give-away!

I wish you all a wonderful week-end

thank you for your comments this week
I will be by ~ I promise!

Your windows are fabulous and you have given me some great ideas for the one I have. I was going to hang it above my bed, but I have been having weird imaginings of it crashing down in the middle of the night. Is it any safer above the couch?? Not sure what to do with it...

Happy weekend!

wow, I really need some good ideas for old windows, I have about eight and I just don't know what I want to do with them, can't wait to see your finished ones!

Lovely pictures -- windows onto the world, and into an inner landscape as well.

I so love the windows. I have seen so many neat things done with them from the bloggy world. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

that first week back from vacation is always the hardest. These windows you're working on are going to be beautiful wherever you hang them. We had such a lovely, sunny fall day today. those are my favorite!

I love the old windows - I've used them for picture frames, mirrors, and hung them as is, which I loved! I used to go to salvage yards to get them. Have a beautiful week, Lori! xxoo :)

Hi Lori,
Well, I am so envious of your beautiful window frames. They are going to look great. I love them.
Please show them to us when they are up on the wall.
Autumn has arrived here in the UK as well. I love the Autumn and it means that I can get my jackets and boots out again !!
Have a great week, Lori. XXXX

Hope you had the most wonderful weekend, dearest Lori!

Missing Lisa big time these days, I know you are too. Let's email/chat soon, I'm traveling for work this week but would love to catch up soon.

Love you lots, and thank you again for the AMAZING Teal Toes tip, can I tell you, I think I have seen at least 100 posts on my end, all for Lisa, and all because of YOU!
