As my vacation winds down
for another year
I cannot help but look back to where we were
last year
Our trip to NYC was a trip of a lifetime for me
I hold so many memories
close to my heart
I have picked out some shots that I did up in sepia
and will frame and hang once the master bedroom is
completely redecorated
Central Park was one of my absolute favorite spots
so it is of no surprise that 2 of the shots
are from there.
this church was gorgeous
and you could not have a NYC shot without this.
Now I know I have 5 shots here and 4 frames so
I am thinking that I will get the 5 printed
and then play with them to see which ones I like the best
would love your feedback too....
this is also a favorite memory
meeting up with some special girlfriends
along with Chinatown, Little Italy, The Today Show,
Times Square, Rock of Ages...
every memory is there ~ fresh ~ like we were there yesterday
Remembering the anniversary of 9/11

I've never really wanted to make a trip to NYC until now! Those are amazing photos and will be such a great reminder when you have them framed and hanging on the wall.
LOVE the trees... and the sepia tones... great job!!
Oh I like them all. And that you managed to get pics without tons of people in them is impressive! I spent yesterday with my bestie from NYC and she showed me all her pics. I sooo hope to get there one of these days. It would make a HUGE memory I'm sure:) Have a great weekend girl.
I love all your photos - you just need to get a 5th frame as they are all gorgeous!!
I LOVE NYC - Alex and I are going there in a month to see the Notre Dame vs. Navy football game and I can't be more excited.
Central Park is my absolute fave place in NYC - it is beautiful! So we definitely have a date with Central Park and with Little Italy too (yum!)
Happy weekend, Lori and my heart is also with the many families that lost their loved ones in the 9/11 massacre - I will never forget that morning! xxoo
Oh Lori!!
I loved that picture of Central Park and the church is amazing, too. Tough call.
Have a great weekend, my dear. So good to hear from you. I'm back from the motherland and in a funk.

Carrie

Lori your photos are gooooorgeous! You should publish them in a photography book. Amazing!
Thnk you for your kind words on my weight loss. You have always been a great support to me and I will never forget it. What a tough year full of challenges but oh so worth it. You CAN do it! I'm here to cheer you on sweet friend.
Blessings & Happy Fall!

All of your pictures are calling out to be framed! Go for it!!

It is sweet to look at your beautiful photos of NYC, as our minds and hearts all go there tomorrow . . . in remembrance.
Glad you had a fantastic trip.
Fondly,
