It is a rainy Friday night
full belly from chinese take out and here I am
parked for the night ~ maybe a movie on deck for later
or to bed early with a good book ~ the jury is still out

busy days at work ~ counting down
but not wishing the time away
lots to look forward to ~ I do love summer
and face time with friends
we make an extra effort as it is so much nicer catching up on the patio
with the sound of the crickets in the distance

craft fair this weekend ~ get together tomorrow night
time with Mom and some housework are on the agenda this weekend

I know that I want to get lots of stuff done before my vacation starts
so I can leave the house guilt free and not have to worry about anything

It's funny what you say about clearing out before you go away - I think it is in readiness for returning refreshed after your holiday and not wanting anything to affect that good vibe! Yes, I'm just like you. I run around trying to get the house tidy before a vacation but somehow it's so hard for me. Usually it looks like miniature wind storm blew through the rooms...wish I liked house cleaning! :)
I was rocking my housework all day today, so tomorrow is a relaxing day for me - yeah!!!! I too usually make sure the house is clean before I go away - it's so nice coming home to a tidy house! Happy weekend, my friend! Hugs and love to you! xxoo
