I was shocked at the news on Wednesday

we lost a true Hollywood legend

R.I.P

tonight we are booking our trip

so I will let you know where we are going

the first of the week

This week-end flew
too much to do and I know as it gets closer to
Christmas ~ yes ~ I said it
that things will only get busier

the party on Sunday was a success
great friends, food and wine
makes a Sunday afternoon enjoyable
that with some bling!

I am hoping this week goes fast
yes ~ Monday morning and I am already wishing for Friday

Lovely

Whether you call it
lilac or lavender
or maybe mauve

no...not mauve
that almost seems wrong
use the one of the "L" words
as it is just lovely.

this field is heavenly
can't you just smell it?

Lilacs are one of my favorites
and since we are into the fall season
I needed this punch of spring
to remind me that once we get through the
cold and snow
these will be waiting on the other side.
