one of my very favourite days of the week

unless I am on vacation of course

then it comes too soon

for most 

March means spring

new beginnings ~ little shoots waking up

after a long cold winter

time to bring out the pretty dresses

and the patio furniture

here in the northeast it means

another month of snow and cold

it can sometimes be our cruellest month

and it is roaring in like a lion

with another snow event that they predict will stay

all weekend

like a bad house guest that overstays their welcome

so this weekend I will knock off the last 5 recipes

in my cooking challenge

yes ~ going into March

and will try my cherry rolls again

as I found out the culprit of the failed recipe was the yeast

the wrong kind of yeast

told you I was not a baker!

I have a brunch date on Sunday

then I will sit and plan some healthy menus

no more short cuts

get off the couch

finish some projects

March will be a month of doing
