Has it been one of those days?
The humidity has been so bad here
that I want to jump into the freezer
and only come out in the fall.
You know what that means.....
Time for ice cream!
Although I love it ~ my hips do not enjoy it much.
So then I though
If I were a flavor...
What flavor would I be?
Vanilla ~ Not Me!
Not plain old vanilla...
May French Vanilla?
Creamy & Decandent...
Or what about something flashier?
Bubblegum or Pistacio....
No...I don't think so
And then ~ when I did figure it out
Would I be in a cone
Or a dish?
Wow ~ who would have thought it would be this hard?
Or...
Would I be a soft serve?
Or a sandwich?

ReplyDeleteNow, you have posed a very difficult question here....is it chocolate, pistachio, coconut, coffee....I think that if I have to pick a favourite, I would be quite boring and say that you can't beat a really good vanilla...but it has to be good, with little bits of vanilla pod in it and really creamy and softish and in a dish...none of this in a cone business for me...that just detracts from the wonderful, smooth, delicious, velvety experience....oh dear, now I'll have to go and get myself some.!!!! XXXX
if I was a flavor, it would have to be Sassparilla! I have no idea what it takes like, might leave a nasty taste in your mouth, but the name sounds sassy, fun and spunky. Sassparilla! My oldest likes Playdoh. What kind of flavor of ice cream is that? I mean who picked up a can of playdoh and said wouldn't this make a great flavor for ice cream? It doesn't even taste good. Don't ask how I know that either. As far as my fav flavor of ice cream it is by far Baskin Robbins Pumpkin Pie. I would also want to be in a dish. Nothing tall and sexy but a short fat functional one. Can even put writing on my buttocks. (Buttocks is another one of my fav words) I just want to make sure you are sitting down giving me all your attention.

Did you ever figure out your flavor? I have so many favorites or past favorites. I love coffee, chocolate chocolate chip, chocolate fudge brownie, vanilla- at times, a good chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles but from Carvel, I love their sprinkles. I like a brownie sundae. Then getting fancy Cherry Garcia is a fave too.

hard to say...i don't eat much ice-cream. not because i don't like the flavors...i just don't like cold things other than pop, ice-tea, water and beer.
